These are some of the templates and resources that I have been using for my productions. Feel free to make copies and use them as you please. 


Short film Budget Template

This Google Doc Spreadsheet is a template for low to high tier short films. This document allows you to enter all your estimated costs while catogrising by the various production departments, with variences automatically factored into the final budget.

Additionally, you can use this document to catalogue your expenses. With this information, the document will automatically add up the actual costs, letting you know how your expenses are tracking in comparison to your budget.


Health & Safety Documentation

This ZIP file consists of templates for a “Health and Safety Policy” & “Health and Safety Risk Assessment”.

These doucments are essential when making applications for permits and in general can be very useful in improving the healh and safety standards of your production.


Cast & Crew Contracts

This ZIP file consists of templates for short film actors, child actors, crew & talent agreements. These templates are updated in accordance to the SIWA regulations (in effect from 2023).

Please Note: These document are merely templates. It’s highly recommended that you modify them based on your particular requirements.


Film Festival Expense Tracker

This Google Doc Spreadsheet is a tracker that allows you to make a list of film festivals that you are looking to submit your film to. Along with that, you can use this spreadsheet to keep track of deadlines, premiere requirements and any other specific requirements for the film.

This document also allows you to categorise the festivals by a 1-5 priority system where you can rank the festivals based on your specific requirements. Additionally, this tracker allows you to keep track of your submission has been completed. With this feature, the spreadsheet automatically provides you with the information on how much you have paid so far (by month and year).
